Grant Proposal Process

The Grants Republic approach to grant writing — steps to on-time submission and funding success.

Back to Guides

Our proven five-step process ensures every proposal is thoroughly planned, collaboratively drafted, and submitted on time. Here is what to expect when working with Grants Republic. For a printable timeline, see our federal grant submission checklist, and for the final submission step, see our guide on submitting in Grants.gov.

Steps to On-Time Submission

1

Review RFP & Create Plan

Grants Republic thoroughly reviews the RFP, creates a proposal process plan, outlines the narrative, and develops a list of information needed from the client.

2

Collaborate with Client

Grants Republic facilitates a conference call with client staff to discuss budget, program design, outcomes, and the proposal process timeline. Goal: Grants Republic has all information necessary to draft the proposal.

3

Write the Grant

Grants Republic drafts the narrative, budget, and all required attachments and forms.

4

Review & Approve Proposal

Client reviews the narrative, budget, and attachments, provides feedback and edits, and approves the proposal for submission.

5

Submit the Grant Proposal

Grants Republic completes a thorough final review and then submits the proposal to the funder before the deadline.
