We’re New Around Here, Too

To the blog, but not to grant writing. Heather and Stan have been writing grant proposals for eight and seventeen years respectively, and have written numerous grants to private funders as well as local cities and counties, states, and federal departments.

Which is not to say we know all, or even most, of the ins and outs of writing successful grants. But we’ve learned many tips and tricks that can be helpful to anyone writing proposals. We just wish someone had told us these tips as we wrote these grant proposals- it would have saved us a lot of time. But now you can benefit from our experience.

Our goal for Grants Republic is to share EVERYTHING we’ve learned. We’ll cover topics related to all types of grants, but will particularly focus on the granddaddy of public funding – federal grants – both in our blog posts and in our online course (coming soon! Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this post to be notified when it’s released.).

In addition to blog posts, Grants Republic will offer useful tools and templates to help get you started with federal grants (such as templates for federal budgets and budget narratives) and live webinars to help you progress in your understanding of what it takes to write federal grants that are funded.

So thanks for checking us out! We appreciate any thoughtful comments you have regarding grant writing and this site, so drop us a line below. You can also sign up for our newsletter and to get info on our upcoming federal grant writing course coming soon.
